The Lake Central School District is pleased to announce the creation of a full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for the 2024-25 school year. The Universal Pre-Kindergarten program (UPK) is a free Pre-K program, funded by New York State for four-year-old children who reside in the district. If you are a Lake George School District resident, and your child will be 4 years old as of December 1 for the school year for which you are applying, you are eligible to apply for this program.
How To Apply for the Universal Pre-K Program
At this time, we are able to offer 18 spots at Lake George Elementary School. To apply for the lottery for your child in Lake George’s pre-K program click the link below under “lottery application”. The lottery is open this year from March 25 – April 8. A random lottery will be used to determine selection. All students not selected would automatically be added to a wait-list.
