The Lake George Central School District Instructional Technology Team is dedicated to creating Innovative and Engaging Learning Environments to help empower future-ready learners to thrive in an evolving world.
Lake George CSD’s Instructional Technology planning process has been an ongoing and collaborative process for many years. In 2012 the District Technology Committee evaluated the instructional technology program and the progress on the previously set goals. With a strong network infrastructure and the foundations of technology integration in place, the committee focused on how to equitably increase teacher and student access while creating a learning environment that helps students develop lifelong problem solving skills. Based on current trends, educational research and district goals and initiatives; the district planned for a 1:1 program.
Technology Plan
The Lake George Central School District will ensure that all students will develop lifelong learning and problem solving skills necessary to be productive citizens in an ever changing, information-driven, global society. The use of technology will be curriculum driven and be equitably integrated throughout the school community. Technology will become a natural part of education through an integrated, comprehensive framework to govern acquisition, application, and evaluation of technological resources. The LGCSD will provide faculty, staff, students and community members access to and education in state-of-the-art technologies.
